I have been taking pictures for nearly 25 years now… some of those years as a professional, many as an enthusiastic amateur. I studied Photography, Graphic Design, and Drama at the University of Washington under some amazing professors and mentors. Along the way I’ve shot thousands of rolls of film, and since the ‘digital age’ of photography I have also shot about a gazillion more frames on all manner of digital camera, from the almost-disposable, to the heart-stoppingly expensive. These days I specialize in studio-based product and advertising photography, and supply photography to many of the biggest licensed brands and retail companies in the world.
In addition to photography, I have worked extensively in the film and video industry producing industrial, marketing, and training videos and films for a number of technology companies, and producing voiceover work for television, radio, and video games. I have produced and directed several commercials and music videos.
In 2008 I co-wrote, produced, and directed my first full-length feature film, ‘Harry Christmas,’ which was independently released on DVD in 2009. In 2010 I had two short-films place in the top 10 for the national Canon-sponsored ‘The Story Behind the Still’ short film competition.
While I am a lifelong resident of Washington State, I have never personally met Bigfoot, ridden an Orca whale, or had lunch with Bill Gates. However, I did meet Chris Cornell in a Starbucks once.
